This knife cuts superbly. Fantastic finish, good workmanship. I've been in the manufacturing industry for over 30 years and the quality is almost the same as metal cutting tools that cost twice as much. The reason I only gave 4 stars is because there is nothing in the description to tell you which insoles to buy. Another issue is that the tool shown in the pictures is not the tool you will receive. In photos, the cut surfaces appear parallel to the shank. It also states that it is for folding, but the inserts are placed at an angle so that the cut from the side of the workpiece is not square, but slightly inclined from the side of the cut. This allows for better cutting when trimming, but makes it useless for folding. You'll need to leave about 0.05 inch of material and then switch tools to complete the cut. This is common in metalworking but impractical for woodworking. It should be clarified that the cut produced by this tool is not perpendicular to the spindle of the milling machine.
