Excellent cable for the money. I cut one and was impressed. All conductors are individually shielded with aluminum foil and encapsulated with a polymer insulating material that insulates, supports and protects the thin strands of conductor and the shield they are wrapped in and then attaches securely to the RJ45 connector. The entire cable is then wrapped in woven nylon, which provides superior protection from the environment and eases cable handling during installation. This is a quality cable at a very good price. The only downside is that due to the materials and the way this cable is factory made, it is very difficult to splice or swap RJ45 connectors. One should use it pretty much as is rather than trying to trim it down to the exact length of your run. If it's a little long just screw in the excess and if you damage the connector you'll have to be very careful to replace it or just run a new wire. Given the very low price of this cable, it's actually cheaper to replace because changing the connector also affects the physical and electrical integrity of the entire cable (again, unless you're very careful) and this will affect the future performance of the cable .
