I have a write speed of 30MB/s on an SD card that is rated for this speed, the read speed for the same card was 100MB/s , again according to the card specification. I was able to connect to my phone's micro USB port and the SD card was immediately recognized as external storage. I haven't used it to connect a mouse or keyboard to a portable device, it's not one of my main use cases. sturdy enough, it's a bit wide but it didn't cause any problems for my use case. I tried using it with my Tesla Model X but it didn't work as the car considered it a multi-port device. The machine asked to connect a single-port drive. I assume that the USB port shows up as the second port/disk and the SD card shows up as the first port/disk. It's not the drive, so I'm not deducting a point for it. but paste it here if this is your use case.
