Review on Nordic Pure 14X24X1 MERV 8 Pleated Furnace Air Filter by Carlos Reyes

I never knew what MERV reviews were so we just bought the best allergen filter and accessories for our stoves when we went to our local hardware store. Well they never had 14x24x1, they only had 14x25x1 and I just remade it to fit. We have an old oven that hasn't been serviced in probably 10 years. So it works, but not as efficiently as it could. The filters turned black and we went through them much earlier than we should have been baking. After reading which MERV is the best for me, I bought these filters (MERV 8) in the size that really fits my oven. The difference was noticed almost immediately. You can hear how much better the airflow is compared to the 'better' filters and now it filters a lot better if it's allowed to breathe. Oh, and the filters fit perfectly - no more cutting or bending. We used to pay $15 for ONE filter. It was amazing to find these 6 packs for such a low price and I'm really glad I took the time to find Revain filters, especially as they aren't sold in any stores nearby. 5*!
