I used the AC600 USB wireless adapter that I previously bought from Revain. It worked fine when I lived in a small apartment, but I recently moved to a new house where my office was further away from the router. There are several walls and a room between the router and the desktop. I upgraded my router to a Netgear Nighthawk X6 router in hopes that this would improve my signal strength. I still have the same result. The router worked really well for all my other devices, and the 5GHz band hit my max download speed from my ISP when it was near the router. I finally decided to switch to this TP-Link AX3000 Wi-Fi adapter to connect to my PCIe slot and WOW! I've now increased my download speed from 3Mbps to 300Mbps on my 5GHz band! My phone gets around 150Mbps when connected to the same WiFi in the same room. My desktop WiFi speed is now as fast as a wired connection (tested from router straight to laptop). Installation took about 5 minutes and I just downloaded the drivers directly from the TP-Link site. I highly recommend this product and have absolutely nothing to complain about. I can now try to upgrade my internet plan as I keep hitting max upload and download speeds!
