Review on Comimark LT1083 Adjustable Regulated Supply by Chris Goldsby

I ordered 3 pieces. Capacitors suck. You never claimed to be good. I replaced them with audio capacitors. I replaced 25V 1000mF with 1000mF 50V. 2 out of 3 work. The one that didn't work had a bad 502 and burned out when adjusting the voltage. Both are stable and have changed my sound system a lot. They get very hot and inefficient, but sound great after a few mods. I'll update them after hooking them up to my oscilloscope and checking for jitter. A big improvement over the switching power supply I used. If you don't change the 25V 1000mF cap to 50V and add a 25+ AC line to the circuit, the cap will burn. I connected a 26 volt transformer lead rated at 25 volts and it blew out instantly.
