Bright Enough For Reading

We used this cute little lantern off and on for a total of maybe an hour over the three weeks before our first camping trip and used it both nights of that to get ready for bed. The second night we read for about half an hour before the light got too dim but still bright enough to light up our 11' camper. It wouldn't last all weekend if you stayed up hours after dark, but as long as you use it sparingly, it should last about four hours total. When I tried to lift it off the camper stove and had to give it a good tug to break the resistance, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that three very strong 1/2" magnets are built into the bottom. In fact, they are so strong that one pulled out after a few lifts, but a few drops of gorilla glue fixed that. We drove four hours up and down mountains, with a change in altitude of almost 6,000' and down a long, rough road to our camp, and the lantern didn't budge off that stove. When we got home, I recharged it, which took only an hour or less. It worked out so well that we were going to buy a second one, until I noticed that it nearly doubled in price - from $8 to $13 in only three weeks.
