Pretty good, I do 4 thin coats and let it dry clear between coats but it stays white. If it's too thick or lumpy in some places, it won't be fully transparent when it dries. I suggest using a popsicle stick or a rat-tailed comb to smooth and thin out the layers. I can wear 4 layers for a week or 2. I can wash, does not affect adhesion much. Easy to remove. I use 91% alcohol to clean the leather and lace before application and I use alcohol to remove the glue, I haven't had any hair loss, I only gave 4 stars because it was a lot of trial and error and struggle . to make it work as it should. It is very easy to work with, although not as sticky and stringy as other glues, almost like Elmer's glue in consistency. I would buy this glue again.
