From my wife: The fabric and color of this dress is very pretty. I’m 5’4” and this dress goes down to the top of my ankles. The top part of the dress forms around you nicely and isn’t see through, but the textured fabric doesn’t feel good against the skin – kind of abrasive. Unlike other empire waist dresses, the more form fitted top accents everything below the seam more prominently (tummy). Depending on how slim you are, this will likely make more or less of a difference to you. For myself, I prefer traditional empire waist dresses better.
