These easy-to-use tablets kill odor-causing bacteria and keep your retainers hygienic. Simply drop one tablet into a glass with enough warm water to cover the mount and leave your fixative in the liquid for 15 minutes. I've had the same retainer for over 10 years so I need to protect it from germs, especially in all the little scratches. This tablet works great and has a fresh aroma and taste. I don't know yet if I will only use them twice a week. When I missed a day, I felt like my retainer needed cleaning. I think I'll use them once or twice a week for a deep clean and still use my daily fixatives for a daily clean. I keep my retainers dry and only soak them before use on the advice of my orthodontist.
