When I first got it it worked great for cleaning my mechanical keyboard with textured PBT keycaps. Unfortunately after sitting at my home office desk for 4 months (temperature controlled basement office, 65-72F range) I pulled it out during a video chat meeting only to have it in a wet, sticky mess all over my hands and keyboard to distribute . Most of the substance turned into the texture and stickiness of maple syrup. I immediately had to unplug my keyboard, turn off the sound and run for a towel (which I later had to throw away). My keyboard is fine after spending an hour removing the keycaps and doing a thorough cleaning underneath, but I would never recommend this product for anything other than single use.
