Pulled the fuel relay then started the engine to release the pressure. Disconnected battery. Installation is easy. Had used a large pan to catch the fuel that was in the lines after the old filter connections were loosened. I recommend waiting until all the remaining fuel is gone or you'll take a gas shower! Made in China. I gave one star because this American company makes their parts in the USA. Tip: I engrave the fitment date and mileage on all my filters as a backup to make them easier to read with a marker.
