Everyone has said that to change the belt you have to remove the brush clutch. I'm an above average DIYer and was able to install the straps with ease. In truth, I think it won't be too difficult for most mechanical people if you take your time. Don't waste money on band tools. All you need is a screwdriver to tighten the straps. They are made to stretch. You won't break them. My DC07 turned 11 and this and a few other parts brought it back in brand new shape. Cheap and efficient. Do your homework in advance. Lots of useful information on YouTube. Save money and avoid the cost of hiring a technician. The straps are original quality and work great.
