The lampshade comes with an original design bracket that allows flush mounting of IF 1. The bracket comes with a screw large enough to fit the lampshade. I used my own, larger screw to install the adjustable bracket. The best I could get was about 3 inches between the light fixture and the ceiling. Not my definition of flush, but good enough considering the price. Also, zoom in on the image and you'll notice some inconsistencies in the colors. Look at the red parts of the dragonfly. You'll notice sharper parts with no color: that's good enough, too, given the price.
