If you expect this faucet to work straight away you will be disappointed and will have to wait a long time. I connected the faucet as instructed, turned on the faucets and the water just poured in without being able to control or stop it. I called American Standard directly and found that I would need to purchase an additional battery for this faucet to work. The list assumes that the required electronics are located inside the faucet. Even the instruction manual that came with the faucet lists the internal battery. We ordered an external battery (although we would have preferred an internal one) and this item is an additional $80-$105 depending on the vendor. First off, this is an expensive faucet and it's annoying to get an item that doesn't work at all.
