I bought this set because I wanted reusable straws. They are very visually appealing and I love the rainbow design. But after using them for a few weeks, I couldn't stand them. 1) The straws are made of metal, and when you drink cold drinks, the straw will be very cold. I found it shocking and uncomfortable on the lips when I drank. 2) If you leave a straw in a drink like a tall glass of water for a while, it will leave a horrible metallic taste in the drink. 3) The straw sits pressed against the bottom of the glass so you can't drink from it unless you lift the straw each time.
