I get a metallic taste when I drink from these straws, which makes the drink taste very different. It worries me that every time I drink I get a metallic taste because it's probably very bad for you. I returned these and am now looking for a hard plastic straw, maybe this is better.

We bought these to make smoothies and use straws without using disposables. Curved straws are great for beer glasses. I would like to see this product with a slightly larger opening, but as long as our smoothies are well blended we have no problem using them as intended.
