Takes some finagling to get the water to flow, but it's a great pet accessory. I appreciate that the bowl tilts forward. My cat seems to make less of a mess that way. My cat wouldn't drink from it for about a week, but she adjusted. Not sure if there is a 'new plastic' smell that she didn't like, or she just needed time to get used to it.
