It could be better. - Stabilizer bars

It works but could be better. It is difficult to attach it firmly to the gimbal and camera. I have a Canon 6D Mark II with a 24-105mm L IS lens. I mainly use it for zooming. The first problem is that you can mount it on either side of the lens, but the USB cable is too short to mount it on the left side of the lens. A 1 or 2 inch longer cable would solve this problem. The second problem is that when mounted on the right side, the torque pushes the lens away. Since the camera is attached to the gimbal with a single 1/4" tripod mount, this forces the camera to rotate and disengages the gear on the motor from the lens mount. This requires a non-rotating mount specifically made to mount the camera. Unfortunately the only thing I could find for the 6Dm2 was a small rig cage. He stopped the torque but increased the weight. However, this did not completely solve the problem of the motor snapping off the lens. I think it's the way the motor is attached to the rod and a grooved plate and clips might improve this. Perhaps a lot of these issues could be better solved if the motor was mounted on the other side of the lens, but this would require a longer USB cable.
