I don't usually write many reviews here, but this time I want to let all other buyers know. "Price, but it actually serves better than Kessil. I'm not talking about how "bright" this item is, although it is very bright for the recommended size of your aquarium. but it works BETTER than Kessil. You can dim this light to many levels, which Kessil cannot. You need to buy a separate controller for Kessil, it is not available. Kessil has the best shimmer effect, this one has it too. Not to the same extent as the disco effect. Customization is endless. Kessil needs to purchase at least 2 accessories to achieve this. The color scheme is nice too, more yellowish than blue which is what I want in a planted aquarium. The build quality is EXCELLENT! For that price you get an all metal thing minus the plastic screws you wish were plastic. Give you an extra lens if you want more beam focusing style. I leave it at 100 for a few days to test if it still works and the case is just warm to the touch. There is NO FAN in this lamp! means no noise! Kessil has a fan. It's better than Flex Mini. They're great lights too, but this Asta 20 does more and is $30 cheaper than the Flex Mini. If you are looking for a pendant light (e.g. Kessil) for your aquarium. You have a good chance not to try! I own Kessil, ADA, Anchera, Flex Mini, Altemis, Prime HD and Raidon. This light is number one on my map! Yes, you can say that all the others are also good light sources.
