I have to say right away that I wish these scissors were NOT made in CHINA! Why can't the company do that in the US, once the steel capital of the world? Everything written on these scissors is in Chinese! BUT, these scissors cut like a dream. Sharp, comfortable and cut straight to the top. The length is perfect (10 inches). When I first held them in my hands, they seemed heavy to me, but now I can say that this is a plus. The weight makes them stable on the cutting surface. I love them and am very happy that I have a good pair. Scissors for cutting with the left hand. I didn't have many sources to choose from. I am very satisfied with them and recommend them to others. The oil on these scissors rubbed off easily. It was good protection for transport because who knows how long they'll be sitting in a warehouse or in a container.
