Alarm clock over 600W

Very happy with it. I've read other reviews that said if you plug it in the wrong way around it will blow the internal fuses and I figured so. I will not reconnect it. I'm not a mannequin! Well I plugged it in and got really tired so I did it backwards! There are 2 internal fuses. Both fuses were blown, 40 amps each. I only had 2x30 amps, so I put 30 amps in first. When they explode I take it apart again and plug it back into the 40 amp. But so far they haven't exploded. Camper. When turning on the refrigerator, a rapid beep sounds, which is triggered every time the power exceeds 600 watts. I knew this fridge would hit over 600 when it first started, but I didn't think the alarm would go off. It's just a short beep because then the compressor stabilizes at around 100 watts, but the initial output is over 600. The box says it can go up to 1200, so it's ok. I will probably remove the beeper permanently because I have already bought it. I plan to turn on the fridge along with my Xbox/LED TV and laptop from time to time. That should work perfectly for me. I've used it before to power a saw to cut plywood and this thing didn't even make any noise when cutting, even with the saw phased!

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
