Review on πŸ”΅ Hunter Fan Company 59248 Dempsey: A Remote-Controlled Low Profile Ceiling Fan for Refreshing Air Circulation – 52", Fresh White Finish! by Ayoo Guzman

Great fan - blades are difficult to attach

Elegant, low profile fan. Moves the air pretty well. Remote control. Very beautiful. 1 star deduction because the blades are really difficult to assemble. Because these blades go through the body and are mounted at an angle, it is very difficult to line up each of the three holes to get the screws in. A few things that helped. Insert 2 blades at a time (1 on each side) into the slots to prevent the fan from spinning when only 1 (or 3) is inserted. Also, you must be looking directly at the fan to line up the holes (do not attempt this while standing to one side). Using a magnetic screwdriver, stand lower, line up the holes, hold the blade with one hand and insert the middle screw/screw first with the magnetic screwdriver (not enough room to hand-tighten). Keep in mind that when you're at the bottom, the screw needs to enter at an angle to fit the thread. So do not insert them vertically, otherwise the screw will not engage. The total time to remove the old fan and install this fan was about 60 minutes, of which about 30 minutes was spent installing the blades alone.
