I kept getting her ads on Instagram and was helped by a YouTube midwife who really knows her stuff. I really wanted to try them but didn't want to spend $80 on something that might or might not work for me. They're a different brand and they're half the price, but I was thrilled to have tried them. Unfortunately, I got this opportunity AFTER the first 30 days of torture by exclusively breastfeeding my second son. This time the first 30 days were HARD! I still have some discomfort from time to time when my son doesn't latch on properly, and I can't tell until my nipples are the smallest and longest in the world. the carpet is on fire. Anyway, I have these nipple cups for just such an occasion. I squirt some milk in, slip it under my bra and try to distract myself with something else. Within 15 minutes the pain subsides and I remove the cups to give my nipples some air. Sensitivity to clothing also improves. These little mugs are amazing. The only downside is that it's one more thing to clean, but in fact we already do continuous cleaning cycles on pump parts, pacifiers, etc. What else could it be if it brings us relief? the packaging is cute. Instructions are detailed. The material is smooth, curved and beautifully finished with no sharp edges. I definitely recommend them and wish I had them in my hospital bag before I get home. I will give them to every pregnant woman I meet. Hope that helps!
