I have my home office desk in the middle of the room. The nearest outlet is on the wall behind the closet and required significant mileage that could not be covered with a standard power strip's 6-foot cord. I bought this item and it worked very well. If I have one very slight complaint, it's that the jacks are still too close together to allow for these electronics with transformers that can make them slightly larger than your standard plug. . For the most part, this suits my needs, but only 2 of my items (monitor jack and bluetooth charger/watch) take up most of the outlets, rendering 2 of them unusable. tool and worth the price.
