Review on Revolutionizing Whiskey Enjoyment: 🥃 Modern Whiskey Spirits Single Silicone by Bruce Marable

Revainrating 5 out of 5

One of the few glass flasks I could find!

Let me just say that I gave this 5 stars because it's strange how hard it is to find a good glass bottle. If you look at vintage bottles at antique stores, most are glass or silver. high-quality items that are comfortable to hold and are not made of plastic or unknown mixtures of cheap metals from unknown factories. If I poured whiskey or bourbon in a bottle, that would be a good thing! I don't want the taste of the holder to be marred by plastic or tinny flavors, and I don't want alcohol, which is a substance that can destroy plastic or cheap metal components contaminated with who knows what contaminants when using cheaper bottles . It can be argued that this is a bit expensive for bottles. But I'd say right away that it's not hard to find a glass and leather Victorian-era bottle in a good antique shop. hundred or more years. That's how long it takes. I didn't even have a thought in my head to get anything other than a leather bottle. Silicone sure is good (and looks tactful), but I wanted something cool that would hark back to the era of tweed suits, Land Rovers, and plaid blankets. I was a little dismayed at this price as one of the bottles was not quality controlled. The stitching was torn and looking a bit "zigzag" compared to the other stitching that was done neatly and correctly. I see that they are designed in Utah and made in China where quality control is often a little behind. As for the skin itself, I would prefer a darker skin tone. or polish it a bit to look more worn. Lightweight leather looks like a baseball glove with this stitching. I would have preferred dark brown over light or black skin. Also, the logo is heavily applied on it, which spoils the appearance. I understand the branding concept, but the lettering on the back and the slightly confusing tube in square logo on the front make this look a bit cheap. I would remove the logos and put one on the bottom. Or at least have your logos printed with gold leaf instead of black. Their construction is also great. You will receive a leather-covered glass bottle. It has a window, like many old bottles. At least make this window transparent amber or brown! A clear viewing window lets you see how much is left but, especially with a large bottle, can damage expensive spirits that are consumed over time as bourbon and whiskey can be exposed to light. receive. I had no idea how big they would be. So I've tried to help you by taking photos of both bottles and my hand (which might be slightly larger than average as I'm 6'4) for reference. I've also included photos of both bottles I held in my hands so you can get an idea of the size. I'm glad I bought both bottles in one package. A small bottle is suitable for one person. It holds a quarter pint or about 3 shots of 100ml which equals 3.4 oz. It fits in a jacket or breast pocket, although it's quite thick so it would look a bit awkward in a breast pocket. That's about the size of a typical bottle of men's perfume. The larger size is 240ml, which is approximately 8 oz, so about 8 shots. It is better if you are planning to go somewhere with a group of people. or a few heavy drinkers. It can also be good if you prefer mixed drinks and want to make a batch ahead of time. Being made of glass, you can pour fruit juices here without worrying about corrosion, so some corn fits in here if you don't like booze or straight alcohol. Surprisingly, it's not much more of a sensation than the smaller 100ml version. You need a back pocket, jean pocket or friend's handbag to carry it because it is not a ready made chest bag. Despite the quality, it's not that heavy making it easy to carry, but filled with 8 ounces of alcohol it will add weight to your outing. The kit includes silicone funnels, easy to store and use. I like them better than the plastic or metal funnels that come with most bottles. They also include extra silicone caps as cork breaks down over time. Stainless steel caps are offered. but also "secret caps" that won't go off with a metal detector at concerts or sporting events. (Although for the price of these bottles I wouldn't risk taking them with me in the event of a seizure.) Overall I'd recommend buying them even though they're much more expensive than the average bottle. They last much longer, are better for the mood, no matter what plastic or cheap metal changes its taste. and probably better for your health than plastic, which degrades on contact with alcohol. I would like to see better quality control when hand stitching and the logos on the front and back really bother me given the price. The shopper buying this is probably looking for a men's classy product that will make them stand out, and slapping crazy logos on it seems pretty counterintuitive. Now I have to figure out how to monogram them. Any of your friends who might like the bottle will be happy to receive such a gift. It's incredibly durable, looks great (overall) and will likely last a long time. Maybe in 50+ years your son or grandson will use them too and complain about the logos. My verdict is to buy them as they are worth the investment.
