Review on πŸ“’ Wolo Air Horn Big Bad Max 619 - 12 Volt, Black by Robert Fulce

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Definitely attention grabbing but not for the volume

After about a week of use I've decided to change my rating from 3 stars to 1 star. I've put the original review in quotes below. Even after applying direct battery power to the horn with a fuse and relay, the horn still has serious problems. When it gets hot (as is usually the case in the engine compartment), the horn no longer "buzzes" but whistles. Looks like a goose with laryngitis. I even tried to get it as far from the engine and radiator into the engine bay as possible with minimal assistance. I had to rewire my Toyota Highlander's secondary horn to ensure I always have a working horn and the secondary horn is LOUDDER than this "extremely loud" horn. I am very disappointed in this product. "I work as a rural mail courier. I bought it because a lot of people said to me "sorry I didn't hear you!" dangerous as a lot of people let the dogs out when I escorted the package to their door. however, its tone definitely draws attention. From the outside it sounds like a half-blowing horn (though not as loud). In the house it sounds like someone is playing the oboe. In any case, it attracts attention. I would give it 3 1/2 stars if possible but I'm only giving it 3 because it's not as loud as I expected and something that's constantly advertised seems different. , but for a horn replacement on a larger car it's a little disappointing. "
