When I first received my cases and tested them I thought they would not work. When I read bad reviews that say the same thing, I know what mistake these people make (as do I). Each bag has 2 inside pockets. One for things like cash (see photos) that don't need protection and other pockets for your phone, key fob, credit cards etc that REALLY need protection. The pocket you put these items in is the pocket closer to the Velcro - it's a much deeper pocket. Putting your phone in there doesn't make or receive calls or anything, I tested that. So these are great bags at a good price!
