After 1 wear the stars faded. After 1 wash the color is completely gone from the stars, they just look clean. My daughter hasn't worn the purple skirt yet, but I expect the same with the white skirt. Super disappointed. Target brand skirts like this one stand up to many washes and lots of play. I wouldn't have bought them if I knew the stars would disappear after 1 wear. Update: The stars on the purple skirt held up, but unfortunately the waistband came loose from the skirt and I had to sew it back on. my mediocre sewing skills.
