So we have a bearded teenager who was having hydration problems and since he was long outgrown the usual drinker we had in the aquarium when we found this one we thought all our problems were solved! NOT CORRECT! The thing is gigantic and took up an enormous amount of space even in its 18-36-18 tank. We thought the sacrifice was worth it, but after keeping it in his aquarium for almost a month he only used it twice, and once because I put it in the bowl to show him where it is! Yesterday he decided to "do his own thing" there, which isn't uncommon for bearded ones, but the bowl is so big that it's difficult enough to get it out of the tank without spilling, especially when You don't want the lizard's droppings splattering and squirting. everywhere, everywhere, everywhere! We'll send it back. This might be better as a watering hole for a much larger lizard like an iguana (can't tell from experience, just guessing here) or a small to medium sized lizard with a large body and need for "deep" water (perhaps a water dragon did exist neither - again just a guess!), but that didn't work on our scaly friend.
