Attention - you have to buy approx. 100 rubber bands separately! This kit was expensive for what it included. I just used round paper for the base, ribbons (it was only blue) around each layer, and blocks on top. Small decorations for children's feet are not attached to the supplied adhesive stickers. Also, you will need to make your own round base out of cardboard as the round base provided is just thin paper. So you need to make your own cardboard base to support the cake and stick the round decorating paper on it. to the base that you supply yourself. Also, you have to provide your own items that come in the middle of each level. I used jars of diaper cream but the kit suggests using a baby bottle. Whatever you use, you need to lay down 2 pieces to wrap middle and bottom layer diapers. The biggest problem, however, was that there were no rubber bands in the kit. You will need a small elastic for each diaper to keep them folded. Then you need very, very large, industrial-size rubber bands that run along the outside of each tier. I was very disappointed that I had to run to the store to buy the things I expected to be in this set! Extra large rubber bands in special size. On the plus side, the instructions were easy to follow and the parents-to-be loved the finished product. I wouldn't buy this now knowing how much I have to buy separately to make a diaper cake.
