I used it to power a NodeMCU that controls a SSR 40A that turns my water heater on and off automatically. So far this has worked great. I hooked up the input side of the relay and the other branch of power while hooking everything up and when I turned on the switch there were no sparks. I wish the entry holes were a little bigger, but I just used them as large solder pads and used a short lamp lead to power it. Anything smaller would have trouble connecting to the power cords. He powered up the NodeMCU and allowed me to manage the relay and save money on my electricity bill every month.
