I found the Regency stool too high to serve as a footrest, which is what I need, but it's a solid extra seat, not too low and uncomfortable to sit on. The stool is very well made with durable flat seams, smooth yet dense material and a soft surface. The stool has small legs at the bottom, so the bottom doesn't rest completely on the ground. Unfortunately, this causes the chair to wobble slightly, but not enough to make the person unsteady when sitting. (My little dog didn't like the hesitation at all and avoided it.) The greens are very light green. Not neon, which hurts to look at, but bright, where it doesn't blend harmoniously in the corner. This chair is loud and proud. Haha! I figured I could make it work and basically ignore the bright colors with my mostly neutral tones, but this chair doesn't want to be dumb and messy. He asks to be seen and sits down. And that's okay! Just be prepared that this stool is a show-off.
