I bought mine in November 2015. It's yesterday on my new phone. When I copied dozens of music files (in wave format) from my Plextor M6S 128GB using the Transcend USB 3.0/3.1 TS-RDF9K memory card reader, the writing speed for large wave files was just over 70MB/s. When copying several small files, the write speed dropped to 2030 MB/s. My results can easily fall short of expectations. But I think the performance of the USB card reader might also be related. So I will try another SANDISK USB3.0 SDDR=289-X20 USB card reader. I will update later. UPDATE: I tried to write over 2GB of music files using a SANDISK USB3.0 memory card reader and the result was almost the same as using a TRANSCEND USB3.0 memory card reader. I am attaching an image showing the actual speed when writing large files.
