Review on X Sense Interconnected Transmission Battery Operated XS01 WR by Ron Houston

Bought for my parents as they don't have wiring for interconnecting smoke alarms in their house. I thought they were perfect as exactly 6 of them are needed for proper peace of mind. Box opened and everything looked fine. These detectors definitely take up a lot less space than what I'm used to from smoke detectors. It's ok as long as they work, right? Except that one of the blocks didn't work right away. Replaced the battery with another device, so far without success. I've installed many smoke alarms in my life and a new one has never failed. I immediately sent the set back and will buy something else.
