I remembered a Norelco Christmas ad from the 70's where Santa Claus rode a razor like a sleigh. I figured if this brand and style of razor still exists, it must be pretty good. I gave it a full month - long enough to get used to it - and it was a big disappointment. It takes way too long just to shave your face with this thing (medium sideburns). I expected the new shaver to do better than my 15 year old Braun which is definitely outdated. This new one doesn't seem to be able to shave certain areas, for example the mustache just won't hit the blades no matter how many passes and no matter how many directions, whether it's in a circle or straight in. And while it doesn't usually give a good, close shave, it also gives me a razor burn on the back of my neck. I have to buy another one - this one is useless.
