Just a regular shave. on male

I liked the old model better, this one doesn't seem to spin the blades very fast so again I don't cut as well and not as fast. I have to keep coming back to my face to shave.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Money box price

SOME VERY SMALL LESS

My previous Norelka of a comparable model which has lasted 8 years with no problems literally fell apart in my hands and required a new one. Thought to stick with the same brand. This new norelco is simply no comparison. First, it was difficult to find a Norelco in this price range that worked when plugged in (allowing you to use its full potential). It then took almost 10 hours for the initial full charge {the instructions say}, the charge seems to run out fairly quickly and the rotors don't…

Another winner from Norelco

I have had about 3 Norelco razors in the last 30 years and today I only have one. Upon unboxing, I was glad it was already charged. When I tried it out, it served me well on my slightly full face and "rewarded" me with a thick clump of hair when I emptied it. The sideburn trimmer worked well too. Overall I'd call it a winner provided the batteries hold up well to prolonged use and charging (in my experience Norelco does this, but.) hth!

It just doesn't work well

I remembered a Norelco Christmas ad from the 70's where Santa Claus rode a razor like a sleigh. I figured if this brand and style of razor still exists, it must be pretty good. I gave it a full month - long enough to get used to it - and it was a big disappointment. It takes way too long just to shave your face with this thing (medium sideburns). I expected the new shaver to do better than my 15 year old Braun which is definitely outdated. This new one doesn't seem to be able to shave certain…

Fisher Price Plastic Toys

Cheap Junk Product. It's like trying to shave your face with a plastic toy. This crappy shaver motor doesn't have enough power to shave a 10 year old's face. I was very disappointed with Phillips Norelco

Really great shaver, even for beginners

This is my first time using an electric shaver and I am very happy with it. It's definitely a learning curve of sorts from the razor and it took my skin a while to get used to it (the brochure says it was only meant to be used for 3 weeks for some reason) but I can do one in a lot less time get a really close shave and effort. As many have said, it's not *quite* as smooth as a razor, but I think it's more than enough for most uses. I also really like the little trimmer. Tip: If like me you're…

Worst electric shaver I have ever used.

The motor on this brand new Norelco Philips shaver sounds like an old broken lawnmower and the shaving heads don't cut as much as plucking a few whiskers at a time which makes it extremely pathetic to work with. don't repeat.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not bad

Nickel metal hydride battery. Not lithium ions!

Indicates it is fitted with a Lithium Ion battery and comes with all required safety labels. The packaging confirms that it is indeed a NiMH battery.

Pros
  • Well Built
Cons
  • Durable

Norelco razors are the best

razor is great and works well but I wanted lithium batteries and this razor uses NI-MH. Mention batteries if the Norelco shaver model uses lithium batteries. I am for lithium batteries. Please let customers know what type of battery is used in all Norelco shavers before purchasing.

Pros
  • few competitors
Cons
  • big and bulky
