Great replacement.
I had to hold + and - on my original remote for about 15 seconds before the volume adjusted. After changing the battery in the old remote, performance didn't improve, so I assumed the problem was in the receiver. I took the chance and ordered a replacement remote and the problem was fixed immediately. Too bad I wouldn't have bought it six months earlier!
