Review on Makita DF012DSE Lithium Ion Driver Drill Auto Stop: Reliable Technology for Effortless Drilling by Rick Everett

HOW A DRIVER SHOULD BE!

When you need a small, compact screwdriver with lots of power, this is your best choice. I have a Panasonic 3.6V driver pin that has been my workhorse for the past five years. While expensive now, it's by far the best choice for driving the occasional jackscrew. It has twice the torque of the previous generation and the electronic clutch works just as well as my other rider. It's durable and of very high quality, just like Panasonic. If you're looking for reviews, I couldn't find them. There are currently no videos on YouTube or any other website that I could find. On some websites that sell this they state that it has a variable speed of 0-200 and 0-650. THIS IS NOT A VARIABLE SPEED! It has 2 fixed speeds. It's as small as my other driver, the LED light is bright and pinpoint. I've also run a couple of 3" wood screws into a thick block of wood with no problem. This driver is sure to make you smile with its size and power. Bravo Makita!
