Works as a mass storage device when plugged in, nothing unusual yet. Works on my MacBook Pro and PC. The case looks a little cheaper than it looks in the photos, there are finish details that make it 'tough', but that's quite a cosmetic effect. However, it appears to be good enough and may be waterproof when viewed during installation. Rubber seals are pressed against each other without a gap anyway. The connection of the drive inside the case is a bit fiddly to install it properly. You have to press on the plastic and rubber to insert it at an angle. I had to use a plastic spatula to guide the drive connector because my fingers are too big. There is a special plug-in card that warns to make sure the SATA connection is correct and it actually took me a second try as I thought it was connected when it wasn't. The presence of an additional warning card with documents suggests that I'm not the first to encounter this problem. However found and documented, credit is where credit should be.
