This was a replacement cold water valve for a Kohler K454-4S-CP faucet. It was a perfect match AND it included the black slots used at the top to attach the Shaft Extension (87466). My faucet was heavily caked and it took some PB B'laster Penetrant and time to loosen the dirt. I was too weak to take it off with a ratchet and needed a stronger person. Luckily the old valve was removed. If you cannot remove the valve cartridge, you will need to purchase a different model of valve and body assembly (Ultraglide). I hope you have as much luck as me and get to keep the old parts. I couldn't remove the old shaft extension for the two grips, and the other grip had the wrong shaft extension. So I bought new stem extensions to match the new valves. If you accidentally bought the valve on the wrong side, you can change it by removing the clip and changing the orientation.
