I have bought several pairs of these pants. I ordered the smallest size available (2 short). For reference, I'm 4'9", I have short legs rather than a waist, I'm 27.5" at the waist and 36" at the hips. My inseam is usually around 25 inches long. On my first one Ordered I chose white and charcoal both short a size 2. The white pair fit perfectly.The only problem was you could definitely see through them.They just weren't opaque enough for my liking.The charcoal pair fitted perfectly and didn't have one Tag. They also smelled freshly laundered. I believe this is a customer return. After reading previous reviews of not heat drying them or they shrink I'm convinced this has happened. So I did returned both pairs and ordered another dark gray and this time black (again a size 2, short).When the black and charcoal pair arrived they both fit like a dream.Both also had original tags.Of course they were They're too long in the inseam, but 99% of the time pants always work for me (unless I can find some amazing ankle length pants). So after changing the inseam they are perfect. Pair of coals looks very nice. I thought long and hard about whether I wanted charcoal or dark charcoal. In the end I decided that since I had already ordered black I didn't want the Dark Charcoal pants to look like faded black pants. The black pair also looks very beautiful. They are a bit shiny and look very stylish. These pants have two faux pockets on the front and a faux zipper flap. They're also very stretchy, so if you're somewhere between sizes, just know they have plenty of room. The 2 short sizes are as follows: : 16" Front: 8 3/4" Back: 14" ________________________________ Overall, except for one pair that seemed like a throwback, I'm very happy with these pants. I plan to to order other colors soon. My advice is the same as many other reviewers: don't wash them and don't heat dry them. I wash them in cold water and hang to dry. UPDATE: I have two more pairs Bought these pants, This time a size 4. They fit a little better than a size 2. I ordered them in indigo and a mix of browns.The indigo was a lot darker than I expected.In some lighting they can easily be mistaken for black but they are still beautiful Measurements for a size 4 Short are as follows: 30 1/2" Hips: 18" Front: 9" Back: 15" BTW if you like my tops they are all Susan Graver except the blue-green.The blouses in size XXS in hers r line fit me perfectly.
