Two pieces included. I installed an additional monitor on two computers. Used as an extension. Everything worked on the first monitor. The second computer couldn't get it to work. The monitor lights up, but no picture is displayed. These are USB powered monitors. I've done everything, updated drivers, scanned my computer for problems. I switched the monitors from my other computer and it didn't work so there hasn't been a monitor switching USB card since I installed it and it wasn't, finally Dell Tech called for $129. They also had trouble starting initially, but eventually figured out it was the extension cord I plugged in. I replaced everything, but I figured that wasn't the problem. Once I replaced this cable everything works, so I had to spend $129 and several hours to find their cable that didn't work.
