No way to move product up

Basically, there is maybe a quarter inch of a pencil nub, then there is no way to move the product up. It's plastic so you can't sharpen it. I tried to turn the bottom part. It does not rotate. I tried sticking in something to push it up, this dose not work either. I love nyx, but skip this product. It was a waste of money.
