This is one of the best water bottles I have ever used. As a former military medic, I have used countless water dispensers and need four things: large capacity, large opening, temperature stability and easy cleaning. My wife loves fancy flip-top water bottles, key holders, etc., but anyone who has served in the military knows that more parts means more things to break. This bottle is perfect for what I need. The 34 ounces make it easy to keep track of my water intake because I know I'm almost a gallon if I drink 3 of these. The large opening makes it easy to pour ice or drink water. Although the case is metal, the vacuum insulation keeps heat transfer to a minimum. I left it in the sun once, came back 5 hours later and there was still plenty of ice left even though it was very hot outside. I think that's the only negative. Cleaning is very easy. Putting in that much water means you have to add electrolytes, which usually means there's a risk of mold growing around seals and small parts that can't be cleaned. Not with this bottle of water. The O-ring (O-ring) is easy to remove and clean, and the mouth is large enough to accommodate large brushes. The shiny interior (see picture) makes it easy to spot foreign objects. The seal is shaped on the bottom so that the pressure of the cap pushes it in to prevent leaks. I can say with confidence that this is protection against leaks. Overall a great bottle.
