I really like the RGB version of this light strip. Best thing I've ever used and created a sports related neon led sign with. However, there are some downsides to be aware of when purchasing the RGB version. Soldering: 4 contact points on an 8mm wide strip is difficult. I needed some solder to get a strong, non-overlapping connection. Mounting Brackets: You get 10 of these, but for 3 meters I would really recommend at least twice as many as in the kit. They are difficult to find and to tune into the trail. Voltage: I think this was posted in another post but 12v is good and 24v is really amazing. Get a 24V 5A power transformer to light up this and several other strips at the same time. Of course, you'll need to do some math to make sure you don't get overwhelmed. But for me it didn't kill the whole 3 meter line. You will not regret it.
