I bought these shoes as a present for my husband. When he took them out of the box, they were already laced and knotted, not the way the manufacturer would have done. Upon closer inspection, the sides of the boots were frayed, the soles worn outwards, the toes had scuffs and dirty water stains (I hope so) running down the side of the boot. i was so confused He took the sanitizing wipes and spent almost 30 minutes cleaning up dirt and stains. He said not to give them back I think so as not to offend me. The thought of someone else wearing them is terrifying. I bought new, unused shoes. In general they look good. However, they can be discounted as they are "returns". After reading many reviews I ordered 1/2 size larger than usual which was perfect. If the seller wants to return the money or give a discount, I will be grateful.
