Titanium kitchen scissors worked well for a while but just got MORE DIFFICULT. This is a pair of scissors that cannot be split in two for cleaning like many similar products. I assumed the joint just got dirty. Today I found out what the real problem was when a small plastic cover fell off: Titan placed a rusting stud on the pivot of the scissors and covered it with a plastic cover. The rest of the product is made of high quality stainless steel and holds up sharpening well. But I hate buying and buying again the same poorly made product or a product designed to fail prematurely and thereby fill our country with landfills. I also refuse to hide a design flaw under a plastic cover.
