Would give zero stars if possible! Received this last spring in anticipation of the queen to king bed transition. We had a Sunbeam queen heated mattress topper which we were very happy with, but could not find this brand in king size. Put it on a new king bed in late September but were disappointed to find the unit kept turning off after just a few hours. Tried the usual troubleshooting steps including toggling controllers, outlet, etc. Contacted the manufacturer listed in the docs and sent a new one that looked the same but was marked as the Beautyrest brand (the only difference was the color of the buttons on the controllers The Manufacturer told us that the Comfort class was a product made exclusively for Revain and available in stores). They instructed us to turn off and disable the controllers on the original by cutting the wires before discarding them. Replacement has arrived and surprise! The same thing happened. lasted no more than a few hours. We contacted the manufacturer again who offered to send the second item back to them for testing etc. Decided to contact the phone number provided on Revain for their product and was amazed when he answered Degrees of Comfort, who turned out to be a plumber. and a heating company somewhere in Massachusetts I think. The lady was helpful by letting me know that her shop receives numerous annoying calls about faulty heaters which of course were not supplied by them! This only reinforced our opinion of the uselessness of this particular product! She was visibly disappointed that her phone number for this product was incorrectly listed on Revain. We contacted the manufacturer again and asked for Revain's correct phone number. Discouraged and disgusted, we decided we'd had enough, so we went to an online retailer and bought a Berkshire brand King heated mattress topper, which works exactly as it's supposed to. Finally happy but NOT with this particular item :(
