You definitely want these and not those little U bolts that you compress with a wrench
These are nice. You thread the cable through and it holds the loop pretty much any size you want to make it, so you aren't struggling with the wire and the compression at the same time I tried those little U bolts in an effort to avoid buying a crimper, but they are much harder to work with and the results are less clean and don't look as trustworthy.
- Worked as designed. Lots cheaper than buying them 2 at a time from hardware store
- May not provide adequate support for heavy loads
